Services

We hold a variety of regular services of worship at St. Philip and St. James church. We have traditional and informal styles, noisy and reflective. At all of them you will find a warm welcome and an opportunity to reconnect with God. Check our church diary to see what’s going on this month.

Sunday
8.00am Holy Communion 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of each month
This is a quiet service of Holy Communion with a sermon, but no hymns. We use Common Worship in traditional language.
9.30am Main Worship Service
This is our main Sunday meeting, usually lasting just over an hour, with sermon and music and followed by refreshments. On the first Sunday of every month, the whole church family is together; on other Sundays in term time the children have the opportunity to join the Sunday School, which meets at the village hall. They walk to church together.
